The Windows Live Writer, a free desktop application is one of my most used tool for simple publishing blog posts. The style of the template is automatically and immediately you see how it will look in the blog.
Developed was the Windows Live Writer for Windows Live Spaces. But it works with any blog quite well.
Other accessories Windows Live Suite is the Photo Gallery. There I discovered the "make" just the "make a blog post" and just tried it out. Let's see if the image is also uploaded on my blog spot. (That is, it will appear in the Google pictures, possibly in the Picasa web album.)
